Jesus loves children

Some children think that God hates them.  Some think he has forgotten about them and does not care what happens to them. That is not true.  He loves all the people he created.  He responds to the prayers of those who believe in Him.  When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, we become a part of God’s family.  Then he not only hears our prayers, but he will also answer them.

His love caused him to give us his only son, Jesus to bring us into his family.  If you will allow God to save you by accepting Jesus into your life, you will always have an open door into His heart.  Let’s look at what the Bible says about God and his love for us.

John 3:16-18 New Living Translation

16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

18 “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.”

Luke 18:15-17 NLT
One day some parents brought their little to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But when the disciples saw this, they scolded the parents for bothering him. Then Jesus called for them and said to the disciples, “Let them come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”

Psalm 102:28 New Living Translation (NLT)

28 The children of your people
    will live in security.
Their children’s children
    will thrive in your presence.”

Psalm 103:13 New Living Translation (NLT)

13 The Lord is like a father to his children,
tender and compassionate to those who fear him.
